Description:

Artisan Design Group (ADG) is launching a new countertop manufacturing operation in Pineville, NC and is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Manager to help build, lead, and support daily shop operations from the ground floor.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building teams, improving processes, driving production, and creating operational structure within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Operations Manager will play a key role in establishing workflows, supporting production and installation operations, driving safety and quality initiatives, and helping build a strong operational culture as the business grows.

We are looking for an operational leader who thrives in fast-moving environments and understands how to balance production, people leadership, quality, and execution.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing and shop operations
  • Supervise and develop production associates in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Help build operational structure, workflows, and processes within a new manufacturing operation
  • Drive production efficiency, quality, and on-time completion of customer orders
  • Partner with leadership to improve workflow, scheduling, and overall operational performance
  • Support inventory management, material flow, and production planning
  • Coordinate closely with fabrication, installation, and support teams to ensure operational success
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Help troubleshoot operational challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and development of shop associates
  • Support equipment reliability and coordinate maintenance needs as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, production, fabrication, warehouse manufacturing, millwork, cabinetry, industrial operations, or related environments
  • Experience leading teams within fast-paced operational or production settings
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to drive execution and solve problems quickly
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and team-building skills
  • Ability to balance production demands, quality, safety, and customer expectations
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing or production equipment preferred
  • Experience helping build or improve operational processes is strongly preferred

Preferred Background:

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Manufacturing operations
  • Countertop or stone fabrication
  • Cabinet or millwork manufacturing
  • Industrial production
  • Distribution or warehouse operations
  • Construction-related manufacturing environments
