About the Role
DSA Doors is seeking a hands-on Quality Lead to own and advance our Quality Management System within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across production operations.
The ideal candidate is experienced in manufacturing quality systems, comfortable working on the production floor, and confident leading audits, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Lead preparation and execution of internal and external audits
- Manage non-conformance (NCR) and corrective action processes end-to-end
- Analyze quality data and report trends to leadership
- Provide day-to-day direction to Quality Control staff
- Partner with production, operations, engineering, and leadership teams
- Maintain controlled SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of QMS, audits, and corrective action processes
- Comfortable working on the production floor in an active manufacturing setting
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills

Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years’ experience in leading to continuous improvement or quality assurance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, handing performance and coaching staff.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and other regulatory requirements
- Ability to participate and/or foster communication and teamwork
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to disseminate information in a timely and diplomatic manner
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to implement and develop strategies to complete projects.
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Work Environment:
The role requires regular presence on the production floor to observe workflows, conduct process reviews, and collaborate with team members. The environment includes active manufacturing equipment, and occasional congested areas. When working in the office, the environment is typical of a professional setting with standard computer and communication equipment. Time in each environment varies based on daily needs.
Physical Demands:
This role requires frequent walkthroughs of the production floor, including standing and walking for extended periods. The employee may occasionally be required to climb steps, bend, stoop, or reach into machinery spaces to view processes. Light to moderate lifting (up to 40–50 pounds) may be required. Office work requires the ability to sit at a computer for extended periods and maintain focus on detailed analytical tasks.
