Position: Behavioral Health Technician
Location:2080 Cabot Blvd. West, Langhorne, PA 19047
FT/PT: Fee-for service
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field or a High School Diploma and experience working with children with a Mental Health diagnosis
Essential Duties:
- Will provide services consistent with treatment plan to model for parents, school personnel, and community staff in assisting the child in achieving treatment goals.
- Ongoing collaboration with family, school personnel, and clinical team.
- Ongoing consultation and supervision with clinical team and coordinator.
- Provide short-term intervention while the caregivers acquire necessary skills.
- Assist caregiver in promoting age-appropriate behavior.
- Empower families, which require that an adult be present when services are provided.
- Completion of all paperwork, documentation requirements as specified in orientation.
- Complies with all policies and procedures of Penndel Mental Health Center
- Attend trainings, meetings and supervision as required by agency and IBHS regulations
- Participates in agency wide Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives
- Will adhere to Corporate Compliance Plan and review annually
- Demonstrates a caring, respectful, responsive, and professional manner in all dealings with consumers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Performs related duties as required/assigned.

Physical Requirements:
This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting, sitting on the floor or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, ability to move quickly in a crisis situation, talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision and skill
