  • Maintain strong communication rhythms through documentation, async updates, and transparent collaboration practices.
  • Support the evolution of UX practices by sharing feedback, mentoring peers, and improving team standards.
  • Navigate ambiguity, prioritize multiple workstreams, and help teams adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading product design efforts for technical products, platforms, or complex systems. This role requires strong expertise in user research, interaction design, collaboration, and the ability to independently drive projects in a distributed, cross-functional environment.

  • Proven experience leading strategic product design initiatives with significant ownership and autonomy.

  • Strong understanding of accessibility, design consistency, and quality standards.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams and understanding technical constraints, including familiarity with HTML and CSS concepts.
  • Proficiency with design and collaboration tools such as Figma and GitHub.
  • Experience managing research operations, participant databases, and study workflows.
  • Ability to work effectively in remote, asynchronous, and highly collaborative environments.
  • Growth mindset with curiosity for emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with technical products, developer platforms, or software ecosystems is highly valuable.
  • Additional experience in areas such as iconography, branding, front-end development, or content design is a plus.
