Job Description

Position Description:

Are you an HR professional who enjoys combining people operations, technology, data, and process improvement to create a better employee experience?

We’re seeking a Human Resources Generalist II to serve as a key partner across Corporate, Regional, and Site HR teams. This role supports critical HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle while helping improve the systems, workflows, reporting, and processes that keep HR running effectively.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in Human Resources along with hands-on experience with HRIS and/or PEO platforms, HR data, employee lifecycle processes, and continuous improvement. If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes, working with HR technology, and turning data into meaningful insights, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Review new hire preboarding documentation for accuracy and completeness, including background screening requirements when applicable.
  • Process designated new hires and ensure employee information is set-up accurately and timely across the HRIS and connected systems.
  • Perform routine HRIS and employee data audits to maintain data integrity, identify discrepancies, and support compliance.
  • Provide first-level HRIS support by troubleshooting system and process issues and coordinating resolution when additional technical support is needed.
  • Support HRIS enhancements, system updates, and implementations through integration, regression, release, and user acceptance testing as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain employee lifecycle workflows, process maps, and documentation while identifying opportunities to eliminate administrative waste and improve efficiency.
  • Support performance management and compensation processes, including data validation, reporting, and coordination with leadership and Payroll.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to analyze turnover, retention, and other workforce trends that support organizational decision-making.
  • Support leave and absence management through accurate tracking, reporting, and HRIS data management.
  • Coordinate HRIS and benefits-related processes for open enrollment, qualifying life events, and ongoing benefits administration.
  • Serve as a liaison with the organization’s unemployment compensation vendor, ensuring separation information and other required documentation are provided accurately and timely.
  • Assist with employee orientation design and delivery and support Learning Management System (LMS) data and administration.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable employment requirements, organizational policies, and established HR procedures.
  • Partner across Corporate, Regional, and Site HR teams to strengthen HR operations and deliver a consistent employee experience.

What We’re Looking For

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Professional HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP.

Experience

  • Required: Two (2) to five (5) years of Human Resources or related experience.
  • Required: Experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and/or Professional Employer Organization (PEO) platform.
  • Required: Strong understanding of HR processes and workflows, including onboarding, payroll coordination, position management, benefits, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting HR projects, technology implementations, system upgrades, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Preferred: Experience translating HR business processes into system requirements, technical specifications, workflows, and data requirements.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting HRIS testing, including user acceptance, integration, regression, or release testing.
  • Preferred: Experience serving as an HRIS module lead or supporting a module lead.
  • Preferred: Experience working within healthcare or another complex, highly regulated environment.

Why Join Us
