This is a full-time, in-office position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with approximately 3 years of litigation experience to join our growing Memphis office. While experience in defense litigation is preferred, we are open to attorneys from a variety of practice areas who demonstrate strong litigation skills, excellent legal writing abilities, and a desire to grow their practice within a collaborative team environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to expand their experience, take on meaningful responsibility, and work alongside experienced litigators representing a diverse client base.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage an active caseload through all phases of litigation
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
  • Prepare and respond to written discovery
  • Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and team members
  • Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
  • Ensure compliance with court deadlines and client reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to provide exceptional client service
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the Tennessee Bar (or ability to become admitted promptly)
  • Approximately 3 years of litigation experience
  • Defense litigation experience preferred, but attorneys from other litigation practice areas are encouraged to apply
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer

QPWB offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Employer-paid life insurance and short-term disability
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and personal time off
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within a national law firm
To Apply

For immediate consideration, qualified candidates should submit their resume. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

QPWB is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
