As a Senior Vulnerability Research / Reverse Engineer, you will be responsible for researching complex security vulnerabilities, developing cyber capabilities, and supporting advanced cybersecurity operations. You will apply deep technical expertise across software, hardware, and operating systems while collaborating with a specialized engineering team.
- Conduct vulnerability research and reverse engineering activities across a variety of hardware and software targets.
- Analyze and identify security weaknesses to support the development of advanced cyber capabilities.
- Design, develop, test, and integrate cybersecurity tools and technical solutions.
- Contribute to larger-scale cyber tool development initiatives by planning and executing assigned technical tasks.
- Perform software analysis, debugging, and exploitation research in complex environments.
- Develop and maintain technical solutions across Windows and Linux platforms.
- Support continuous improvement of development processes, including testing workflows and integration practices.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists and engineering teams to deliver reliable, mission-focused capabilities.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and cybersecurity software development, with strong technical depth across multiple programming languages and operating systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field with 10+ years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent advanced technical experience.
- Strong programming experience with languages such as Python, C, C++, and x86 assembly.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in vulnerability research and/or cyber tool development.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience developing applications and tools in Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and modern software development practices.
- Knowledge of Windows internals and/or Linux kernel-level programming.
- Experience with cross-platform development across Windows, Linux, and other operating systems.
- Familiarity with reverse engineering techniques, vulnerability discovery, and security research methodologies.
- Understanding of multi-threaded, concurrent, or distributed application development concepts.
- Knowledge of assembly languages such as x86, ARM, or MIPS.
- Experience with antivirus evasion techniques is a plus.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications or specialized training are preferred.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in complex technical environments.
