THE BASICS
  • Role Summary: Responsibilities include resolving customer queries, recommending solutions and guiding customer through the process of their orders and/or projects. Ultimately, help establish our reputation as a company that offers excellent customer support. Manage our Order Management System to assure the development and implementation of customer programs, computer operations, and related functions (communications, office systems, production activities, etc.)
  • Location: Kansas City, MO (In-person)
  • Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 / yr
  • Reports to: Facilities Manager
  • Status: Full-Time, Exempt



WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone or email.
  • Resolve service problems by clarifying the customer’s inquiry--determining the cause, selecting and explaining the solution and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Analyze and report product issues or questions.
  • Monitor customer’s orders and inventory for discrepancies.
  • Inform production team about new programs, inventory item receipts and/or Sku information.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their inquiries are resolved.
  • Review Open Orders to make sure that no order is missed.
  • Establishing and maintaining on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems; participating in site visits as needed.
  • Ensures technology utilization providing a fast, accurate, and secure method to access information in a highly efficient and effective manner.

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Mathematical Ability: Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook); VeraCore
