Warehouse Associate at SunSource – Ft. Wayne, Indiana

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving incoming merchandise as well as pick and packing customer orders, and stock merchandise.

•Receive Merchandise:
- Verify accuracy of inbound shipments. Inspect product and packaging for damage. Receive items in Prophet 21. Distribute merchandise to stock locations.
- Facilitate intake of items for returns and repairs. Create items in Prophet 21, document with photos.

•Pick Orders:
- Collect products required for orders, bag and label items, process pick tickets.
- Stage and organize items allocated to shop jobs.

•Pack Orders:
- Pack merchandise properly to ensure safe arrival at its destination. Label packages appropriately. Record shipment information in Prophet 21.

•Inventory Maintenance:
- Maintain proper labeling, stock, and replacement for inventory bins.
- Cycle counting inventory items chosen by the computer system for review

•Warehouse Maintenance:
- Clean as necessary. Maintain organized work area.

•General Duties:
- Prepare and process reports.
- Complete other duties or projects that are assigned.
