About This Position

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE: The Lead Membership Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Membership Manager by overseeing day-to-day club operations, ensuring an exceptional member experience, and driving execution of membership growth initiatives. This position serves as a primary resource for club administration, cross-department coordination, and process implementation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Partner with the Membership Manager to execute membership strategy, drive retention, and achieve sales and growth goals.
  • Act as the Membership Manager’s key operational support and delegated lead for club related initiatives and projects.
  • Assist in onboarding and training tasting room teams on membership programs, sign-up processes, and club benefits.
  • Lead the execution of all tactical aspects of club runs including but not limited to batch set-up processing, converting declines, and ensuring orders ship according to established timelines.
  • Serve as the primary contact for member inquiries and problem solving.
  • Maintain a luxury-level service experience consistent with PlumpJack Collection standards.
  • Manage Winery Membership email inbox.
  • Oversee returned shipments from fulfillment database for DTC departments.
  • Assist where needed with wine club member events.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    JOB KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

    College diploma or equivalent experience required. English fluency required. Strong proficiency in MS Excel, CRM programs, compliance and fulfillment management experience strongly preferred.

    SKILLS AND APTITUDES:

  • 2+ years of wine club, hospitality, or DTC membership experience preferred
  • Customer service & sales focus – with the ability to up-sell and cross-sell via phone and email
  • Comfort acting as a key liaison between departments
  • Highly detail oriented, organized and efficient, with strong quality standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Courteous, professional, trustworthy, and reliable.
  • Ability to work weekends and adapt to a flexible schedule.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Works in a multi-person office with a high call volume.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Sits at desk approximately 90% of workday. Uses computer approximately 90% of shift, depending upon current projects. Heavy use of phones and email, daily. Occasionally required to handle and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over short distances. Must be able to work well under pressure. Occasional weekend duties are required.
