Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Multidiscipline Technician for Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate of Multi-Technical program

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. BLS required.(American Heart Association)

Preferred:

Acute Care/ED experience Phlebotomy and EKG experience

Scheduling Requirements:

Day Shift, 24 hours per week, 6 a-6:30p

Essential Functions:

The Multidiscipline Technician is a direct patient caregiver who assists the Registered Nurse . Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from ad mission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning
