This role sits at the intersection of healthcare transformation and large-scale digital systems, supporting initiatives that improve how health services are delivered through modern information and communication technologies. You will work on complex, system-wide healthcare programs focused on enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening data and process management, and enabling better clinical and administrative workflows. Operating in a fully remote environment, you will collaborate with clinical stakeholders, technical teams, and transformation leaders to translate business needs into structured system requirements. The position plays a key role in shaping and supporting healthcare ICT implementations, ensuring solutions are aligned with real-world clinical and operational demands. You will also contribute to process improvement, systems configuration guidance, and enterprise-scale change initiatives. This is a highly impactful role within a regulated, mission-driven healthcare digital transformation context.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading business and systems analysis activities across large healthcare transformation initiatives, ensuring that system implementations meet clinical and operational requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, map processes, and support the delivery of complex healthcare IT solutions.
- Lead business and systems analysis activities for healthcare information system implementation and transformation projects
- Elicit, document, and validate requirements from clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
- Map and analyze business processes to identify capability gaps and improvement opportunities
- Support configuration and implementation of healthcare systems, including EPR and clinical applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and system design
- Contribute to change management activities and support smooth adoption of new systems and processes
- Guide and coordinate analysts as part of project delivery teams in healthcare ICT environments
This position requires extensive experience in business analysis within healthcare IT environments, along with strong expertise in system implementation, process mapping, and clinical systems such as EPR platforms. Formal certifications in business analysis and change management are essential.
- 10+ years of experience in business and systems analysis supporting information system implementations and process mapping
- 10+ years of experience eliciting requirements and implementing systems in healthcare environments
- 8+ years of experience with Altera Sunrise suite implementations or similar clinical applications
- 4+ years of experience configuring hospital EPR systems, including ADT and clinical documentation modules
- 5+ years of experience in a project lead role managing and directing analyst teams in healthcare IT projects
- Certification in PRINCE2 (Foundation or Practitioner)
- Certification in Prosci (ADKAR) Organizational Change Management
- ITIL certification and a qualification in Business Analysis
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage complex, large-scale, regulated healthcare transformation projects
