Job Description
Position Summary
The Field Manager leads and supports landscape maintenance crews to deliver high-quality service, strong client satisfaction, and efficient operations within budget. This role oversees daily production, route planning, safety, training, and communication between clients, crews, and internal teams to ensure consistent service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, route, and supervise daily and seasonal landscape maintenance operations.
· Conduct regular site walks to monitor quality, identify issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
· Respond promptly and professionally to client needs; join manager/client site visits as needed.
· Manage labor hours, material use, and job costs through company systems to stay within budget.
· Train, coach, and support Foremen and crew members; reinforce company standards, expectations, and safety practices.
· Provide bilingual communication between management, clients, and crews (if applicable).
· Oversee irrigation scheduling, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance coordination.
· Ensure proper use, care, and cleanliness of company equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
· Complete and submit timekeeping, work orders, and field documentation daily using company software.
Qualifications
Required:
· 3+ years of commercial landscape maintenance experience, including basic irrigation knowledge.
· Prior experience leading or supervising crews/teams.
· Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
· Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
· Ability to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
· Bilingual English/Spanish.
· Landscape industry certifications or related training.
· CRM experience a plus (not required).
