Job Description

BME Fire Trucks is seeking a full-time morning shift Security Guard to man our security booth. As Security Guard you will be responsible for the safety and security of the facilities you protect. Our security officers act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions; they detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts which may be a threat to the people, property, or information at the site. As Security Guard your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the facility is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
• Reporting safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing
• Building, improving and maintaining effective relationships with both client employees and guests
• Answering questions and assisting guests and employees in a professional, welcoming manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• At least 18 years of age
• Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Remain flexible to ever changing environments; adapt well to different situations
• Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard
• Neat and professional appearance
• Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat
• Constant mental alertness and attention to detail required while setting priorities and following up on assignments
• Ability to cover the 4am-1pm shift.

This is a full-time permanent position located on site in Boise, Idaho.
