Responsibilities/Duties:

Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidentsConduct regular patrolsMonitor activitiesSurveillanceAccess ControlSafety escortsUsing provided communication devicesRepresent SSNW’s brandProperly wear the issued uniformComplete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)Complete Incident ReportsWork with local law enforcement, and emergency servicesProvide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.Other duties as described in the Post Orders

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must have a valid driver's licenseMust have a clean criminal record and driving record2-4 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security) preferredSmart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.Reliable transportationHonesty and IntegrityAble to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to obtain a Idaho State Unarmed Security Guard LicenseAbility to react appropriately in high stress situations

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or EquivalentPrior Public Safety and/or Military experience preferredKnowledge of security protocols, and equipment

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrolsAble to stand 8-12 hours a dayMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
