Iroquois Job Corps Center is seeking a dependable, motivated Food Service Worker / Cook Assistant to help prepare and serve nutritious meals to our students and staff.

Located near the beautiful Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge, this position offers flexible scheduling, hands-on culinary experience, and the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Perfect for retirees, culinary students, college students, or anyone interested in food service, hospitality, nutrition, or restaurant management.

• Assist with meal preparation, cooking, baking, and serving.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.

• Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines.

• Stock supplies and assist with inventory.

• Prepare serving areas and support daily kitchen operations.

• Work collaboratively with the Food Services team to provide excellent service.

• Flexible on-call scheduling.

• $19.00 per hour.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
