The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, automotive knowledge, and 12V experience. The Automotive Upfitting Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that our first responders operate safe, reliable, and effective vehicles. The Automotive Upfitting Technicians are tasked with installing the following equipment: Emergency Vehicle Lighting and Control Systems, Sirens, Prisoner Transport Systems, Radios, Radar, In-Car-Camera Systems, License Plate Readers, Equipment Consoles and Cargo Cabinets, Weapon and Drone mounting systems, and front push bars, to name a few.

Compensation and Benefits
- Starting pay is $25 per hour and up PLUS BONUS, depending on experience
- Bonus potential after satisfactorily completing the initial training period.

- Typical Schedule is Monday-Friday 6:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. Some overtime required

Attributes of a Strong Candidate
- Ability to work with hand and power tools such as screw drivers, wrenches, hand drills, etc.
- Proven 12V experience - a must
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics - a must
- Capability to bend, twist, reach, and lift to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Aptitude in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components from various sources is a plus
- Strong Work Ethic
- Capacity to work independently and/or in a team environment
- Pre-Employment Background Check
- Removal of factory interior and exterior equipment and parts
- Installation of specialized emergency vehicle Lightbars, Emergency lighting, Push Bumpers, Sirens, Controllers, Speakers, Partitions, Window Bars, Prisoner seats, Gun racks, in-car video, Computers, License Plate Recognition, and much more
- Attention to detail as it relates to job progress and tracking of hours
