Fire Suppression & Extinguisher Technician at Edison Fire Extinguisher Co Inc – Los Angeles, California

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems Technician to take lead in servicing our client base throughout the following counties, Riverside, San Bernadino, Orange, San Diego, and Imperial. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, installing, repairing, and maintaining kitchen fire suppression systems, with a strong emphasis on ANSUL systems, as well as PyroChem, Amerex, Range Guard, and other common commercial kitchen systems.

This is a field technician role. You will be assigned a schedule , handle work orders, communicate with clients, and ensure all jobs are completed to code and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service: Perform inspections, installations, repairs, and maintenance of kitchen fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers in compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes.
• Documentation: Accurately document all services performed, including uploading inspection reports, maintenance photos, and other documentation into our digital platform for compliance and recordkeeping.
• Work Order Management: Complete assigned jobs, close out work orders promptly, and ensure all necessary documentation is submitted.
• Customer Communication: Maintain professional communication with our scheudling team as well as clients to confirm appointments, discuss service findings, and provide recommendations.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguisher servicing.
• Must be licensed/certified to service fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers in the state of California.
• Working knowledge of brands such as ANSUL, PyroChem, Amerex, Range Guard, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and documentation effectively.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to upload documents and images to digital platforms.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
