About the Role
The Fulfillment Supervisor is a critical leadership position responsible for managing and providing direction to four team leads across our core operational areas: Data Processing & Billing, Fulfillment Operations, and Automation. This is a hands-on, "working position" that requires a visible presence on the pharmacy floor to support the team, optimize workflows, and handle daily operational challenges. The successful candidate will ensure that our pharmacy operations run efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and provide clear direction to four team leads, ensuring they effectively manage their respective staff members.
Maintain a proactive presence on the floor, actively moving between fulfillment, automation, and processing areas to monitor operations and support the team.
Serve as the front-line point of contact for daily operational challenges, including medication recalls, complex patient/customer service issues, and workflow escalations.
Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and address immediate operational needs.
Oversee operational performance, ensuring that daily fulfillment processes, filling of prescriptions, and automation tasks are executed accurately.
Qualifications
Valid Pharmacy Technician certification.
3-5 years of pharmacy experience (Retail pharmacy experience preferred; hospital experience is a plus).
Proven leadership and people management experience; ability to guide and motivate team leads and staff.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Schedule & Working Conditions
Standard shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
Expectation: As a leadership role, this position typically requires 45-50 hours per week.
Weekend Rotation: Required to work one weekend every 8-10 weeks to oversee operations.
