Job Summary
The Mobile Glass Technician safely installs, repairs, and replaces automotive glass while supporting collision repair quality and vehicle safety. This role handles windshields, side glass, rear glass, moldings, primers, and adhesives in accordance with OEM procedures and industry standards. The technician works both in-shop and mobile environments and coordinates with estimators, body technicians, painters, and customers to complete accurate, timely glass repairs.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Perform windshield, side-glass, and rear-glass installation, repair, and replacement.
Inspect glass damage and determine the appropriate repair or replacement approach.
Safely remove damaged glass and prepare openings for proper fit, bonding, and finish.
Apply approved adhesives, primers, and moldings according to product and OEM requirements.
Coordinate with collision repair teammates to maintain quality and production flow.
Document completed work accurately and support parts tracking as needed.
Maintain tools, mobile equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Communicate professionally with customers and teammates in shop and mobile environments.

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional automotive glass installation, repair, or replacement experience required.
Previous experience supporting collision repair or automotive repair operations required.
Strong knowledge of auto-glass tools, urethane/adhesive systems, primers, moldings, installation techniques, and safety standards.
Ability to follow OEM procedures and recognize when additional calibration or repair coordination may be required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in shop and mobile environments.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
