Position Summary

Alteas Health is seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused Clinical Account Manager to support our cardiology and pulmonary service lines throughout the Kansas market. This role is designed for a clinically experienced professional with echocardiography experience who is comfortable working independently across skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The Clinical Account Manager plays a key role in supporting diagnostic workflows, strengthening facility relationships, coordinating patient care activities, and supporting overall clinical operations.

The primary focus of this position is independent echocardiogram performance within facility settings, while also supporting pulmonary and operational workflows as needed. Candidates with cardiac sonography experience and the ability to independently perform echocardiograms are strongly preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Independently perform echocardiograms in accordance with organizational protocols, competency standards, and provider orders
  • Prepare patients for echocardiography procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout testing
  • Acquire, organize, and transmit diagnostic imaging and supporting documentation accurately and timely
  • Maintain awareness of echocardiography protocols, imaging quality standards, and equipment functionality
  • Support pulmonary diagnostic workflows, including spirometry testing and coordination as appropriate
  • Obtain and document patient vitals, histories, and clinical updates
  • Assist with patient preparation and overall clinical workflow coordination
  • Monitor and communicate patient concerns, symptoms, or changes in condition to providers and leadership
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with facility leadership and clinical teams
  • Serve as a point of contact for operational coordination within assigned facilities
  • Assist with scheduling coordination, patient tracking, and workflow support
  • Support onboarding and orientation activities for new clinical staff as needed
  • Participate in team meetings, education initiatives, and operational improvement efforts
  • Maintain infection prevention, equipment care, and clinical safety standards
  • Travel between assigned facilities and office locations based on operational needs

Work Environment & Schedule

This role includes responsibilities supporting providers directly within skilled nursing and long-term care facilities throughout the Kansas City market. Travel between facilities is expected based on operational and patient care needs.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous echocardiography or cardiac sonography experience required
  • Ability to independently perform echocardiograms required
  • RDCS credential through ARDMS required
  • RCS credential through CCI required
  • Cardiology, pulmonary, long-term care, or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting mobile or field-based clinical workflows preferred
  • Knowledge of echocardiography imaging standards, equipment operation, and diagnostic workflows required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple facilities and environments
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with spirometry or pulmonary diagnostic workflows preferred
  • Knowledge of EMR systems and clinical documentation standards preferred
  • Previous experience supporting cardiology and pulmonary providers within skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
