This is a highly visible opportunity to join a growing Finance team and play a key role in maintaining accurate, scalable accounting operations.
You will own critical aspects of the monthly and quarterly close while supporting accounts payable, receivables, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting.
The role combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and automate manual workflows.
You will collaborate closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional partners on reporting, compliance, revenue recognition, and special projects.
Your analytical skills will help identify trends, explain variances, and provide management with actionable financial insights.

- Own and complete monthly and quarterly financial close activities, including accounts receivable and payable, payroll, fixed assets, prepaids, cash management, bank reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll, maintain employee records, prepare related journal entries, and reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts.
- Create and distribute customer invoices, monitor collections, and collaborate with Finance leadership on past-due balances and expected payments.
- Support tax and compliance activities, including sales tax, 1099 reporting, benefits compliance testing, audit schedules, and external audit requests.
- Document, implement, and maintain accounting policies, processes, and internal controls to support accurate and efficient financial operations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual accounting procedures, improve data quality, and make financial close activities more efficient and predictable.
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages and perform quantitative and qualitative variance analysis for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Assist with customer contract reviews and revenue recognition assessments, applying appropriate accounting principles to business arrangements.
- Administer and maintain key finance and business systems supporting expenses, accounts payable, payroll, employee records, and retirement contributions.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for Finance colleagues while supporting special projects, reporting requests, analyses, and other initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience with hands-on responsibility for general ledger activities, payroll, accounts payable, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
- CPA certification or active plans to pursue CPA licensure is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities, including lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations, and analysis of large datasets.
- Experience with accounting and business systems such as QuickBooks Online, Ramp, TriNet, Box, or Dropbox is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance and other business functions.
- A proactive, self-directed approach and a strong desire to grow, learn, and contribute in a high-growth environment.
- A continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to distinguish routine accounting activities from issues requiring escalation or technical review.
- Familiarity with accounting automation, systems implementations, and process improvement initiatives is valuable.
- Annual base salary of $80,000–$90,000 USD.
