Product Management Senior Manager - Marketing Technology

The Product Management Senior Manager is responsible for leading the planning, development and management of marketing technology solutions within the firm. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to execution and launch, ensuring that marketing technology products meet market demands, solve critical marketing challenges, and deliver high value to internal marketing teams and external clients. This role blends expertise in marketing technology, product management, and leadership to ensure the successful execution of marketing tech initiatives aligned with business goals. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing operations, legal stakeholders, engineering, IT, knowledge management, and marketing, to create innovative marketing technology solutions that drive business outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for marketing technology solutions aligned with firm goals and business needs.

  • Evaluate, select, implement, and optimize marketing technology platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics, CMS) to enhance marketing capabilities.

  • Manage the full product lifecycle, from strategy and prioritization through implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement.

  • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on business needs, user feedback, market trends, technical feasibility, and performance data.

  • Partner with marketing, marketing operations, IT, finance, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, align priorities, and drive successful product delivery and adoption.

  • Establish product goals, KPIs, and success metrics to measure business value, ROI, and user adoption.

  • Identify opportunities to integrate marketing technology across the firm's application portfolio to improve operational efficiency and marketing effectiveness.

  • Oversee the successful integration and ongoing performance of marketing technology solutions within marketing workflows and production environments.

  • Develop solutions that improve campaign management, lead nurturing, content distribution, marketing analytics, and marketing operations.

  • Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, AI/ML applications, and the competitive landscape to drive innovation and inform product strategy.

  • Influence cross-functional teams and leadership to advance marketing technology initiatives and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Education and/or Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management or product development leadership

  • Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools

  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MBA

  • Juris Doctor degree

  • Experience with marketing technology and CRM systems

The target salary range for this role is:

$148,200 - $211,150 if located in Illinois.

Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
