Job Description

Description:

Parraid is a products company devoted to the design, engineering, sales, and support of telemetry data systems and tactically oriented, mission-critical communications solutions. We are headquartered in Hollywood, Maryland, with a strong team, well-established product lines, and a growing client base.

Position Summary:

Parraid is seeking a Program Manager to own execution of our Communications Product Line programs from initial sale through delivery, fielding, and sustainment handoff. This role is the primary point of accountability for the customer experience and success after award and the primary point of coordination across engineering, production, and configuration management internally.

Approximately half of the role is direct customer engagement supporting prospective customers with credible scope and schedule commitments during pursuit, and supporting fielded customers through delivery, integration, and follow-on capability. The balance of the role is ensuring those commitments are met and provides information flow directly back into product engineering and road map.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Program Execution:

  • Own program execution from award including late-stage capture support through delivery, fielding, and transition to sustainment.
  • Develop and maintain the integrated master schedule across hardware, software, systems engineering, configuration management, and production BOM/LOM.
  • Own cost and schedule performance against the contract CLIN structure.
  • Manage CDRL development, quality, and on-time submission; maintain traceability against the compliance matrix.
  • Conduct risk and issue management with actionable mitigation plans and clear ownership.
  • Master the setup, configuration, demonstration, and deployment of Parraid Communications Product Line
  • Customer Engagement (approximately 50% of the role):

  • Serve as the primary post-award customer point of contact for DOD and other program offices.
  • Support pre-award pursuits by providing realistic assessments of schedule, integration effort, and deliverable scope.
  • Lead recurring program reviews, in-process reviews (IPRs), and technical interchange meetings (TIMs).
  • Capture and prioritize field user feedback as structured input to the product roadmap.
  • Represent Parraid at demonstrations, experimentation events, and field trials.
  • Internal Coordination:

  • Coordinate delivery across Software, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, and Production, including teams outside direct reporting authority.
  • Support RMF/ATO artifact timelines and DD254-driven security requirements.
  • Provide accurate, timely program status to leadership.
  • Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering; or ten (10) years of experience in military tactical operations communications and networking; or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
    • 5+ years managing technical programs, fielding events, or deployments in a DoD or defense-industrial environment.
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of tactical communications, including RoIP, PTT voice, IP networking, multicast, and system behavior over constrained or DDIL transport.
    • Ability to interpret a PWS/SOW and communicate effectively across end users, engineers, and contracting officers.
    • Active secret clearance or eligible to obtain a secret clearance.
    • Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations, including austere and OCONUS environments.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Direct experience with the RoIP (NRG) and comparable RoIP gateway systems.
    • Experience with Rally Tactical Systems (Engage Engine / Rallypoint) or comparable tactical middleware.
    • Familiarity with L3Harris Falcon III/IV radio families (AN/PRC-160, 153, 158, 167), Software Defined Radio systems, MANET waveforms and DoD, Federal, and Commercial radio ecosystems.
    • Familiarity with the TAK ecosystem.
    • Defense acquisition literacy : FFP/CPFF structures, CLINs, CDRLs, OTAs, DD254/NISPOM.
    • PMP certification, (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
    • Prior military signal or special operations communications background.

    Performance Measures:

  • On-time delivery against contract schedule
  • First-submission CDRL acceptance rate
  • Cost performance against program baseline
  • Customer retention and follow-on award rate
  • Time-to-resolution for fielded issues
  • Effectiveness of field feedback integration into the product roadmap
