Role Summary:
The Sales Engineer, GTM & Enablement assists Account Executives in presenting Filevine's products to law firms, government entities, and corporations. As the technical expert on the team, you will deliver product demonstrations and translate complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences. You will also serve as connective tissue between sales, product, and marketing - making sure the way Filevine talks about its products in market is grounded in how those products actually work, and that the field is prepared with consistent messaging before a release reaches customers.
Strategic Sales Support: Partner with Account Executives to assess client needs and deliver compelling, storytelling-driven product demonstrations to prospects and current clients.
Product Expertise: Maintain a deep, up-to-date understanding of Filevine’s evolving legal tech suite (case management, AI, and contract management) to recommend tailored customer solutions.
GTM & Marketing Alignment: Partner with marketing to build accurate talk tracks, demo flows, and use cases, ensuring all marketing collateral aligns with actual product functionality.
Content Creation & Hosting: Serve as the subject matter expert and occasional on-camera host for marketing webinars, product education series, and partner referral videos.
Asset & Message Review: Review go-to-market materials, pitch decks, and messaging drafts for technical accuracy and to ensure they resonate effectively with legal buyers.
Demo Environment Management: Build and maintain high-quality demo environments with clean data for webinars, events, booth presentations, and major marketing campaigns.
Partnership & Event Representation: Support the Partnerships team by contributing to RFP responses and traveling to conferences as Filevine’s technical representative.
Internal Sales Enablement: Collaborate with Product Management to develop internal sales certifications and training programs, keeping AEs aligned on a unified narrative prior to product launches.
- 2+ years as a Lawyer or Paralegal at a law firm (with timekeeping/billing experience).
- Curious, problem-solving mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to translate between technical product teams, marketing, and customer-facing audiences.
- Dynamic storytelling ability with persuasive presentation style.
- Comfort partnering across product, marketing, and sales — and operating in environments where messaging and product evolve quickly.
- Adaptability to business changes.
- In-office position requirement.
- Legal software administration experience is a plus, not required.
