Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Paid Media Strategist based in Canada.
As a Senior Paid Media Strategist, you will act as a strategic advisor to high-growth B2B companies, connecting paid media investment directly to pipeline and revenue.
You will manage a portfolio of 4–7 clients and serve as a trusted partner to senior marketing and executive stakeholders.
The role combines hands-on paid media expertise with strong client leadership, commercial judgment, and strategic communication.
You will shape channel strategies, manage forecasts and budgets, and turn complex campaign data into clear business recommendations.
You will work across Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Meta Ads while ensuring accurate tracking and attribution.
The environment is high-performing, collaborative, fully remote, and focused on ownership, continuous learning, and measurable business impact.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to lead client outcomes rather than simply execute campaign tasks.
- Develop and own paid media strategies aligned with client business objectives, growth priorities, and North Star Metrics.
- Manage a portfolio of 4–7 B2B clients as the primary strategic point of contact, building trusted relationships with marketing leaders and executives.
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, presenting performance, trade-offs, risks, recommendations, and clear next steps.
- Own forecasting, budget pacing, and performance against quarterly and annual targets, ensuring media investment remains aligned with business goals.
- Lead client conversations with confidence, setting agendas, addressing challenging questions, managing pushback, and driving decisions and follow-through.
- Translate campaign and attribution data into concise, actionable recommendations focused on demos, pipeline, and revenue rather than vanity metrics.
- Plan, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads.
- Diagnose performance issues at their root, including tracking, campaign structure, bidding, creative, and demand-related factors.
- Maintain end-to-end conversion tracking and measurement across GA4, Google Tag Manager, and CRM platforms.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, effort, and implementation feasibility, while maintaining rigorous quality assurance.
- Incorporate AI-assisted approaches into campaign strategy, creative testing, optimization, and measurement.
- Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and blockers and communicate recommendations before clients need to ask.
- Ensure every client interaction concludes with clear actions, owners, timelines, and accountability.
- 3+ years of hands-on B2B paid media experience, including at least 1 year working with B2B SaaS.
- Previous client-facing strategic experience with ownership of client communication and recommendations, not only campaign execution.
- Demonstrated success managing toward MQL, SQL, pipeline, or other meaningful B2B growth targets.
- Direct responsibility for at least $50K in monthly advertising spend across multiple client accounts.
- Strong expertise in Google Ads, plus hands-on experience with at least one of LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, or Microsoft Ads.
- Working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and CRM-based attribution platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose campaign performance beyond surface-level platform metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to lead conversations with senior stakeholders and defend recommendations under pressure.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to connect media performance with broader business outcomes.
- A proactive, accountable mindset with the ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and drive execution independently.
- Comfort working in a fully remote, international environment with flexible hours and required time-zone overlap.
- Fully remote work environment.
- 5 weeks of paid time off.
- Competitive compensation plus quarterly performance bonuses.
- Flexible working hours, with 4 hours of overlap required within the 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST window.
- Paid professional development, including training, schools, events, and conferences.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for full-time Canadian residents.
- Opportunity to work directly with fast-growing B2B and SaaS companies and senior business leaders.
- A high-performing, international, and collaborative remote team culture focused on ownership, growth, and measurable impact.
