The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, managing key healthcare accounts, and driving commercial objectives within an assigned territory. - Drive territory performance by achieving commercial objectives and account growth targets.
- Develop and execute strategic Key Account Plans aligned with business priorities and customer needs.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
- Strengthen referral pathways and identify opportunities to improve patient identification, access, and care coordination.
- Organize and deliver educational programs, stakeholder engagement activities, and customer initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated customer solutions.
- Support the development of healthcare champions and key opinion leaders within relevant therapeutic areas.
- Analyze patient care pathways and identify opportunities to optimize healthcare experiences.
- Maintain accurate customer insights, account activities, and performance information within CRM systems.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, reporting standards, and performance indicators.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and business focus.
The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare sales professional with strong strategic account management skills and the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups. They should have a proven ability to operate in complex healthcare environments while delivering measurable commercial results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful specialty pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in key account management, strategic planning, and business development.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience navigating complex healthcare systems and customer environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly collaborative and cross-functional setting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Strong commercial mindset with experience developing value propositions and growth strategies.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel when required.
- Advanced French speaking and writing skills, with intermediate English speaking and writing skills.
- Experience in oncology, nuclear medicine, specialty therapies, patient access programs, or healthcare pathway development is considered an asset.
