Help keep our homebuilding projects running smoothly with accurate bookkeeping and timely subcontractor payments.

Master Built Homes is a homebuilding company looking for an experienced, dependable part-time bookkeeper to maintain financial records and support day-to-day office operations. If you’re comfortable with QuickBooks and can manage your responsibilities independently, we’d like to hear from you.

Four days per week, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., with some flexibility. Fridays are required, plus three other weekdays. Approximately 24 hours per week.

• Receive and review weekly subcontractor invoices, resolve discrepancies with subcontractors and management, and process approved payments on schedule

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including tracking amounts due and outstanding customer invoices

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

• Prepare and maintain financial reports

• Maintain accurate financial records and record subcontractor invoices and other expenses against the correct home or construction project

• Support management with general accounting tasks and communicate with subcontractors about invoice and payment status

• Provide general office and secretarial support

• Previous bookkeeping experience and hands-on QuickBooks experience, including entering bills, recording payments, and reconciling accounts; construction bookkeeping or subcontractor invoice processing experience is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• The ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Clear communication and practical problem-solving skills

• Availability every Friday and three other weekdays
