Mamahuhu's founding team includes Brandon Jew of Mister Jiu's in San Francisco's Chinatown and Anmao Sun and Ben Moore of Hunter Gatherer, a farm-to-table restaurant group in Shanghai, China. With experience spanning fine dining to fast casual, China to California, our team is united by a shared love for Chinese-American food and a commitment to sustainability, quality sourcing, and community.

Mamahuhu is growing its front of house team. We have a casual, 40-seat dining room with bench, counter and booth seating. The dining room is designed for counter-service style ordering where guests line up, order at the counter, receive a number and we bring the food out to them when it's ready. The front of house is designed to be simple and lean and works great when we have a tight, organized group who can work efficiently and as a team.

We are looking for a friendly and positive FOH Team Member to join our team! We’re looking for someone with flexible availability who is able to work a mix of lunch and dinner shifts based on the needs of the restaurant.

You’ll run food, bus the dining room, hold down our point of sale (POS) counter during service, take orders, answer the phone, and occasionally support our expediter in the kitchen. The position is dynamic and requires someone who is comfortable jumping in wherever needed and working as part of a team.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Ideally has at least 1 year of experience in a hospitality role
• Flexible Schedule
• Has a strong work ethic, and thrives on being part of a close knit team
• Has a sense of urgency, and challenges themselves to accomplish more each day
• Can pay close attention to detail
• Appreciates food as a way to bring people together
• Experience with or interest in Chinese cuisine is a plus!
