This role focuses on building and expanding strategic relationships with channel partners in the cybersecurity and technology ecosystem. You will work closely with partners to develop go-to-market strategies, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen long-term business performance. The position combines partner relationship management, sales strategy, enablement, pipeline management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will help partners effectively position and sell innovative security solutions while supporting revenue growth and customer success. The role also provides opportunities to improve channel processes, influence strategic initiatives, and enhance partner engagement. It is well suited to a commercially minded professional who thrives in a collaborative, partner-focused environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic channel partners and industry influencers, identifying opportunities to generate new business and expand existing partnerships.
- Collaborate with channel leadership and internal stakeholders to align partner activities with strategic business objectives and broader organizational priorities.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for assigned partners, clearly communicating the value of technology platforms, products, and services.
- Enable partners to effectively position and sell solutions through training, presentations, ongoing guidance, and sales support.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on improving partner engagement, performance, retention, and overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support large-scale campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, pipeline generation, and revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve channel processes and recommend initiatives that strengthen efficiency, innovation, competitiveness, and partner experience.
- Provide strategic support to channel sales teams by managing key accounts, developing retention strategies, and helping partners achieve their business objectives.
- Own and actively manage a partner-led MSP pipeline, maintaining strong deal hygiene, accurate opportunity information, and reliable sales forecasting.
- Monitor partner performance and market opportunities, using insights to inform account strategies and identify areas for further growth.
- Represent partner needs internally and help coordinate resources and initiatives that support successful channel relationships.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience is preferred, particularly in channel sales, partner management, customer success, or a related commercial function.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated channel experience is required, with MSP experience considered an asset.
- Experience in Customer Success or Partner Success is preferred.
- Experience in cybersecurity or a related technology industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong partner relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and develop productive long-term business relationships.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
- Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools, with experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM strongly preferred.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify opportunities and translate partner needs into actionable plans.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, initiatives, and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively across sales, marketing, leadership, and other internal functions in a fast-paced environment.
- On-target earnings of CAD $120,000–$160,000, with actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, role requirements, budget, and applicable employment laws.
