About This Position
KDG Construction Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Contracts & Finance Manager to oversee the administration of client contracts, ensure project profitability, and manage financial processes for large-scale construction management projects. This role requires strong contract administration, financial tracking, and client relationship management skills, with a focus on public infrastructure and government contracts.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Contract & Financial Administration:
- Administer and manage client contracts for consulting work, including prime and sub-contracts.
- Ensure compliance with government contract requirements and industry regulations.
- Develop and track project budgets to align with financial goals and contractual obligations.
- Monitor and follow the company's cash management processes to optimize financial performance.
- Oversee project financials to ensure profitability and adherence to budget constraints.
- Track and follow up on accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments from clients.
- Provide financial insights and reporting to project teams to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to create financial models, forecasting tools, and budget reports.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding contract and financial matters.
- Maintain strong relationships with public agencies, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure transparency in financial reporting and contract compliance for all projects.
- Track and report on diversity and inclusion metrics for compliance with government contract requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to workforce diversity initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in contract administration, finance, or construction management.
- Experience managing public infrastructure projects and government contracts.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, financial modeling, and reporting).
- Knowledge of cash management, budget tracking, and financial forecasting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of diversity and inclusion compliance reporting for government contracts.
- Experience working with municipal, state, or federal agencies on construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction management software and financial systems.
- CPA, CMA, or PMP certification is a plus.
