About the Role

We are currently seeking a Principal Ruby on Rails Developer to work closely with our client in the Edtech sector. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on cutting-edge projects, utilizing modern technologies to solve real-world problems and drive innovation.

Duration: This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable solutions using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and performance.
• Monitor and optimize system performance.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

What We Are Looking For:

• 6+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and 8 years of related experience
• Expert knowledge in one domain and experience working in other domains.
• Expert with a core language and framework.
• Experienced with cloud infrastructure and operations.
• Expert with a core language and framework; familiar with additional languages and frameworks (Ruby, Rails, Vue, Angular, React )
• Familiar with Agile development principles, specifically Scrum.
• Excellent communication, coding, and analytical problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and self-managing, able to proactively identify work, handle tasks, and complete work without supervision
• Knowledge with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Good understanding in designing solutions using Ruby on Rails.
