About This Position
Distribution & Inventory Account Manager
The Distribution and Inventory Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products through the supply chain. This position is responsible for managing receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving documentation and billing processes. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can manage daily operational tasks while ensuring accuracy, compliance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will also support warehouse operations by picking and packing orders, when needed.
Responsibilities | Duties- Receiving and Inventory Management
- Oversee the receiving of incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular counts and reconciliations.
- Manage stock levels and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Order Processing and Fulfillment
- Coordinate the release and preparation of customer orders.
- Generate and manage shipping documentation (e.g., release tickets, packing slips, BOLs)
- Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing and dispatching of orders.
- Collaborate with operations and/or logistics providers to schedule shipments and resolve delivery issues.
- Account Administration and Billing
- Prepare and process invoices in alignment with shipping and order data.
- Maintain accurate customer records and account details in relevant systems.
- Work closely with accounting and operations teams to resolve any billing or account discrepancies.
- Operational Support
- Provide hands-on support for warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, labeling and staging as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
- Continuously identify process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and inventory controls.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to data.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.

- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, when required.
