Job Description
Hydromotion is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll help ensure materials are received, stored, and delivered accurately and on time so production can keep moving. What You'll Do- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality.
- Move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Pick, stage, package, and prepare orders for shipment while ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Organize warehouse and storage areas to promote efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Support production by delivering materials to workstations as needed.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading deliveries.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to teamwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, or similar material handling equipment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with barcode or inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work overtime as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
- Experience with shipping and receiving, including international shipments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or manufacturing documentation.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10-hour shifts.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
This position is performed in a manufacturing facility where temperatures may vary throughout the year. The work environment includes typical manufacturing noise levels. Required personal protective equipment includes safety shoes and safety glasses.
