Position Summary:
Tresco, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Floor Care Supervisor to oversee custodial floor care operations at WSMRGC. The Floor Care Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all floor surfaces are maintained to contract standards and supervising floor crews to ensure high-quality performance, teamwork, and compliance with safety and procedural standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and evaluate floor care crews, providing feedback and promoting staff development and accountability.

• Ensure janitorial duties and floor maintenance are completed per contract standards and within required timelines.

• Approve employee timesheets and monitor attendance.

• Communicate regularly with project management regarding staffing and service concerns.

• Attend training related to floor care, safety standards, and custodial best practices.

• Accept and complete special assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of three years of custodial experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Must pass required background and security checks, including satisfactory motor vehicle record check in accordance with company policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of floor care techniques, custodial best practices, and safety procedures.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently and in team settings.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and attention to detail.

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Must respond to calls, texts, and emails in a timely manner while on duty.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Requires exposure to cleaning chemicals and may involve working in outdoor weather conditions.

• Vision and hearing requirements necessary for safe job performance.

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:45am - 4:15pm
