Commissary Supervisor in White Sands, New Mexico at Tresco, Inc.

Position: Commissary Supervisor

Overview: The Commissary Supervisor is responsible for overseeing both the commissary operations and janitorial services.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise commissary and janitorial employees in daily operations.
2. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to team members.
3. Train new staff on commissary procedures and janitorial duties, including proper cleaning and sanitation practices.
4. Conduct performance evaluations and ensure compliance with safety, health, and company standards.
5. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating products.
6. Ensure all inventory records are accurate and up to date, minimizing waste and shortages.
7. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
8. Ensure commissary areas remain clean, organized, and in compliance with food safety regulations.
9. Work with management to improve operations and resolve customer concerns.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Qualifications: 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in commissary. Familiarity with custodial roles, equipment, and operating a forklift. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to multitask. Proficiency in inventory management and basic computer skills.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License

Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). Employee’s must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a background check. Note: For Federal position list NCICS Clearance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required by position

1. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
2. Ability to bend, kneel, and perform cleaning tasks as required.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods (20-30 minutes at a time)
5. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Rate of Pay: $21.10

Pay Range: OP-3

Hours: Tuesday and Friday 4:30pm-2:30am
