We’re looking for a dedicated Physician Recruiter and Medical Staff Liaison to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the continued growth and excellence of the Saratoga Hospital Medical Group. This position is responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies to attract high quality physicians and advanced practice providers who align with the organization’s mission, culture, and long term clinical needs.

In addition, the position conducts targeted outreach to internal and external practices to promote newly recruited physicians and highlight select specialties, strengthening referral relationships and increasing community awareness. As a key connector between new providers, medical group leadership, and hospital departments, the role ensures smooth credentialing, clear communication, and a positive integration experience.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining a robust candidate pipeline, managing full-cycle recruitment activities, coordinating site visits and interviews, and collaborating closely with physician leadership, practice managers, and administrative leaders. As Medical Staff Liaison, the role also supports communication between the medical group and hospital medical staff office, assists with credentialing workflows, and helps ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

šŸ” What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship development. Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously refine strategies to attract diverse, high-quality talent.
  • Conduct targeted outreach visits to internal and external practices to promote newly recruited physicians and select specialties, strengthening referral pathways and community awareness.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, ensuring smooth transitions for new providers through collaboration with medical group leadership, practice managers, and hospital departments.
  • Serve as a liaison between the medical group and the hospital’s medical staff office to support credentialing workflows and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate clear, timely communication among providers, leadership, and operational teams to support successful integration and engagement.
  • Track recruitment metrics, market trends, and workforce needs to inform strategic planning and support the medical group’s growth initiatives.

What You Bring

Education, Training & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience in physician or provider recruitment, healthcare talent acquisition, or medical staff services.
  • Experience working in a hospital, medical group, or healthcare system strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with credentialing processes, medical staff bylaws, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, NCQA) is beneficial.

Certifications/Licensure: AAPPR certification highly desirable
