We are currently recruiting for a temporary Material Planner I.
What you will do in this position:
- General Support
- Coordinates the material plan for new products and manages the material activity to support these programs.
- Represents Materials to ensure acquisition and planning activities support company objectives and development schedules.
- Master Production Schedule
- Plans, prepares, and issues Purchasing Planned Orders Reports.
- Manages the material ordering policies for each part number.
- Coordinates any changes and ordering exceptions as required.
- Material Plan Development
- Updates the Avante Production Plan.
- Reviews daily/weekly sales bookings to identify potential problem areas.
- Coordinates corrective measures to balance requirements to inventory plan.
What you will need to succeed:
- Qualifications
- Computer literate, knowledge of ERP system.
- Fundamentals of MPS/MRP.
- Spreadsheet programs.
- Experience
- 2+ years of material planning experience
- Education
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (4 years college) - Preferred
- Travel: 0%
The posted pay range, $24.62 - $32.79 per hour, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
