The Supervisor Baylor is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities
- Under the general direction of the Assistant Nursing Director, the Nursing Supervisor is responsible for supervising the delivery of nursing care and nursing processes on the assigned shift.
- The Nursing Supervisor is accountable to perform in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, New Hampshire State Regulations, the standards of rehabilitation practice established by the American Nurses Association and the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and Standards of Clinical Practice, established by the American Nurses Association.
- The Nursing Supervisor must be able to interpret the established goals, objectives and operational functions of the department and hospital to staff appropriately.
- The Nursing Supervisor must possess and demonstrate clinical, professional and leadership abilities at all times, and be capable of independent decision making and problem solving.
- This is a highly visible position for patients, visitors, physicians and all interdepartmental staff, representing nursing administration and hospital management.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. CRRN, ACLS, BSN preferred.
- Licensed and registered as a professional nurse in the State of New Hampshire.
- Minimum of 3 years rehabilitation/medical-surgical experience with 2 years of management responsibilities.
