Director, Outpatient Surgery Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky at Med Center Health

The Director, Outpatient Surgery Center serves as the operational and strategic leader responsible and accountable for the overall performance of the same-day surgery center. Provides leadership across clinical, business, and administrative functions to ensure efficient operations, high-quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient and physician experience.

Develops and executes strategic initiatives to drive growth, optimize operational performance, and enhance market competitiveness. Partners with physicians and organizational leadership to advance service line development and achieve financial and operational goals. Fosters an engaged, high-performing team environment and ensures alignment with Med Center Health’s mission, vision, values, philosophies, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Four years of progressive healthcare experience including leadership and project management experience in healthcare required.
• Experience in ambulatory surgery or perioperative services preferred.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Strong operational and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and productivity management.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and growth initiatives.
• Knowledge of ambulatory surgery center operations, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
• Strong physician relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and drive performance improvement.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
