About the Role:

The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales department by ensuring seamless communication and coordination between sales teams, customers, and internal departments. This position is responsible for managing sales orders, tracking customer inquiries, and facilitating timely delivery of products within the manufacturing industry. The Sales Coordinator will work closely with outside sales representatives to provide administrative support and help maintain strong client relationships. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the role demands exceptional multitasking abilities and adaptability to changing priorities. Ultimately, the Sales Coordinator contributes to the overall efficiency and success of the sales process, driving customer satisfaction and business growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Coordinator or in a similar administrative role within a sales department.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales order management systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process sales orders accurately and efficiently using company systems.
  • Serve as a liaison between sales representatives, customers, and internal departments to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Manage scheduling and logistics to support outside sales activities and customer appointments.
  • Maintain and update customer records and sales reports using Microsoft Office products.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing urgent requests.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and documentation as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with production teams to ensure product availability.
  • Support the sales team by tracking order status and following up with customers to confirm satisfaction.
