What Will You Be Earning?
- Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
- Compensation is determined by hiring managers and is based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, and the specific demands of the role.
What Are We Looking For?
- Manage the company's tool inventory by maintaining accurate records of tool locations, condition, service history, and usage while conducting regular inventory audits.
- Coordinate the distribution, checkout, and return of tools, ensuring employees have timely access to the equipment needed for assigned projects.
- Oversee preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep tools safe, operational, and compliant with company standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain organized, secure tool storage areas and implement measures to prevent loss, damage, theft, or unauthorized access.
- Track inventory levels, maintenance costs, damaged or lost equipment, and replacement needs while preparing reports and submitting purchasing requests to the Logistics Control Manager.
- Collaborate with field personnel, management, and the Safety Manager to ensure tool availability, identify training opportunities, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support safe tool usage.
- Develop and coordinate facility maintenance schedules while working with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure company facilities are properly maintained.
- Assist with departmental budgeting by monitoring tool, maintenance, and repair costs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenses.
- Support warehouse and logistics operations as needed and work collaboratively with the Material & Logistics team to meet departmental goals.
- Participate in cross-training across all areas of the Material & Logistics Division, with opportunities to develop responsibility for fleet management and additional logistics functions as part of a defined career growth path.

What Do We Want To See?
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or fire suppression trades preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate company vehicles in accordance with company policy.
- Forklift certification is preferred (or ability to obtain certification).
- Proficient with computers, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and company procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with coworkers, management, and vendors.
- Basic mathematical skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to gather information, evaluate situations, and make sound decisions.
