Application Intern in Troy, Michigan at Intrepid Control Systems, Inc

The Field Application Intern works in the sales department. In this role, it takes an engineer to help customers understand and use Intrepid products. In this position, you will work with Intrepid customers daily.

Responsibilities

• Learn Intrepid hardware and software
• Attend and complete training classes offered by Intrepid (as a student).
• Complete training classes on vehicle networks (face-to-face or on your own).
• Learn the various applications of Intrepid products.
• Assist in field & phone support, sales calls, and work with demos and manual documentation.
• Help set up and teardown tradeshows, man show booth, assist customers at tradeshows, and capture lead information,
• Demonstrate proficiency in sales, support, and training tasks.
• Assist with training, and take the lead in customer support.
• Build a project that will help you learn about vehicle networking and accomplish the needs of Intrepid (building demos).
• Identify and conduct outreach to customers whose software licenses have lapsed with special renewal offers to retain customers.
