Summary: Under the direction of the Aftermarket Manager, the Aftermarket Reline Rebuild Sales Engineer will

review requests, applications, and processes submitted by sales and/or customers. They will perform design

calculations (as necessary), prepare cost estimations and generate quotations that meet LMPH fiscal goals, company

standards, applicable codes, and the customer’s specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be

expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

1. Work with customers, direct sales, and sales representatives to discuss, refine, and ultimately sell relines,

rebuilds and upgrades to customer equipment.

2. Interacts with the customer and/or sales staff to review equipment specifications and customer requirements to

develop accurate proposals/quotes.

3. Prepares budgetary pricing and abbreviated proposals when requested to help qualify projects before investing

greater resources which would be required to generate a detailed proposal with firm pricing.

4. Generates detailed and accurate quotations/proposals with lead times to allow customers to purchase

equipment. Create and maintain accurate and complete proposal templates.

5. Determine accurate costs and ensure appropriate selling price based off LMPH margin goals, or as directed

otherwise by the Aftermarket Manage or General Manager.

6. Reviews quoted/shipped job margins and provides detailed analysis on financials that have variances when

requested.

7. Confers with appropriate coworkers, including engineering and production, to implement operating procedures

and resolve system malfunctions.

8. Confers with appropriate personnel in other departments, such as marketing, legal, and engineering, to provide

technical information.

9. Process purchase orders in ERP (currently AS400/BPCS) system and in Salesforce.

10. Participates in meetings, seminars, trade shows, and training sessions to stay apprised of new developments,

technologies, and components.

11. Occasionally travel to customer sites to review applications or meet with local sales representative and/or Sales

staff to discuss projects with customers.

12. For projects handled direct (with no outside Sales Representative or Direct Sales Person), the Aftermarket

Reline Rebuild Sales Engineer will follow-up with the customer to confirm receipt of proposal, address any

questions or concerns, and actively sell the proposed equipment meeting company standards, applicable codes,

and customer specifications.

13. Ensure conformance to codes and to company standards for quality, profitability, and manufacturability.

14. Stay current and informed of new developments in industry and new parts or methods to improve products or

product designs.

15. Comply with all housekeeping procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
