The VP, Marketing Communications is responsible for developing and executing corporate marketing initiatives, brand strategies, and go-to-market programs across Vortex. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role partners across departments and divisions to strengthen the Vortex brand and support business growth.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy B2B marketing leader and self-starter who can quickly immerse themselves in the Vortex business. This individual brings broad marketing expertise, strong digital capabilities, and the ability to take initiatives from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute corporate marketing initiatives and brand strategies.
  • Build marketing plans aligned with company objectives and business priorities.
  • Lead marketing and communications initiatives across Vortex departments and divisions.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for product and equipment launches
  • Lead content, branding, and visual communications with creative teams.
  • Write, present, and pitch marketing concepts to internal and external audiences.
  • Lead digital marketing strategies across relevant channels and platforms.
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Maintain consistent brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Partner with Sales to support lead generation and business development.
  • Manage multiple marketing initiatives from concept through completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of progressive marketing experience with a strong B2B background.
  • Experience executing corporate marketing initiatives and brand strategies.
  • Proven experience building and executing comprehensive marketing plans.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies for product or equipment launches.
  • Strong digital marketing experience, including exposure to AI applications.
  • Experience developing content and visual communications with creative teams.
  • Strong experience presenting and pitching concepts to executive and external audiences.
  • Industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, or related B2B experience preferred.
  • Agency experience and trenchless or water/wastewater industry experience are a plus.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, self-starter mentality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
