Human Resource Coordinator in Northlake, Texas at SCHLUTER SYSTEMS L.P.

DESCRIPTION

The Human Resources Coordinator will create a positive experience for new hires and process new-hire paperwork, including verifying I-9 documents and ensuring documents are properly completed. The Human Resources Coordinator will also conduct Company tours, inform employees of insurance benefits available to them, as well facilitate enrollment. The position encompasses diverse functions within Human Resources, payroll and related areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Payroll – acquire a thorough Knowledge of our Payroll system and be able to assist and submit all payroll companies.
• New hire orientation: prepare employment agreements, file orientation paperwork, and follow through with new-hire paperwork for all companies.
• Process employees’ open/new-hire insurance benefits enrollment for all companies, confirming enrollment or denial of benefits with employee
• Enter insurance benefits into Employee Navigator for all companies
• Conduct Company tours
• Maintain bonus schedules, including biannual bonus
• Maintain backup of vacation PTO for all companies, including hourly and salary
• OSHA reporting and filing of worker comp. claims
• ACA reporting through the Employee Navigator System
• EEOC reporting
• Assist in running and balancing reports, including quarterly and yearly reports; assist in creating reports from applications as needed
• Review all bills pertaining to insurance benefits and compare to deductions from payroll system
• Assist with scheduling drug tests, interviews, and correspondence with employees or candidates
• Scan and send reports to Paylocity
• Assist with setup of new registrations and accounts for new states
• Assist with Employee investigations
• Send 401K files to plan as needed
• Assist with FMLA/PFL paperwork and maintain schedule for insurance deductions
• Answer calls and questions regarding benefits and/or new hire enrollment or orientation
• Filing
• Assist with year-end deductions and open enrollment insurance benefits
• Special projects as directed by management
• Represent Schluter Systems in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner in all matters

COMPETENCIES

• Three to five years’ experience
• College degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
