Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. or Pharm. D. degree required. Current IN or OH Pharmacy license required or must be able to transfer current license within 6 months. Epic certification accredited or proficiency status at time of hire or must obtain within 6 months after hire. Minimum requirement of 6 years healthcare experience. Requires an in depth understanding of the requirements and workflow of Patient Care Services department and hospital clinical environment. Ability to offer creative solutions while participating in clinical decision making process in collaboration with leaders and staff associated with both clinical departments and Information Services. Aptitude to engage colleagues on challenging and potentially difficult topics related to use of the Electronic Medical Record in clinical practice. Work requires strong written and verbal communication skills as well as a high degree of accuracy organizational skills and particular attention to detail. Must be available and accessible 24/7/365. Familiarity with information technology service management (ITSM) principals preferred.
