This role supports patients and customers by helping ensure reimbursement-related requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and with care.
You will coordinate documentation, case updates, follow-ups, and communications throughout the reimbursement process.
The position offers the opportunity to resolve routine issues, identify workflow gaps, and help reduce delays that may affect access to services.

- Support reimbursement processes by ensuring coverage-related requests are handled accurately, consistently, and within appropriate timelines.
- Coordinate benefits documentation, case updates, follow-ups, and reimbursement communications to keep cases progressing efficiently.
- Review and resolve routine reimbursement issues, documentation gaps, and workflow exceptions to minimize delays and support positive access outcomes.
- Maintain complete and accurate case records, reimbursement documentation, and system updates to ensure reliable operational tracking and reporting.
- Monitor reimbursement trends, recurring issues, and escalation indicators to identify opportunities for proactive resolution and service continuity.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to clarify reimbursement requirements, exchange relevant information, and facilitate case resolution.
- Contribute to process improvements, workflow enhancements, and operational readiness initiatives that improve the scalability and effectiveness of reimbursement support services.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in reimbursement support, patient services, customer operations, healthcare support, case coordination, claims support, or a related field.
- Bilingual communication skills appropriate for supporting diverse customers and stakeholders in Canada.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, documentation requirements, and follow-up activities accurately.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to identify missing information, workflow issues, and potential escalation points.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with case management, customer relationship management, or other operational systems and maintaining accurate records.
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve routine issues while escalating more complex matters appropriately.
- Certification or additional training in reimbursement support, patient access, customer support, service management, CRM systems, or process improvement is considered an asset.
