Job Overview

Santa Fe Mechanical is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from pre-construction through closeout. As a key member of the Project Management team, youll coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely, on-budget, high-quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from start to finish.

  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and progress tracking.

  • Review and understand mechanical plans, specifications, and submittals.

  • Lead project meetings and communicate updates to all stakeholders.

  • Resolve issues proactively to keep projects moving forward.

  • Ensure work aligns with contract requirements, safety protocols, and quality standards.

  • Support field teams with timely decision-making and resource coordination.

  • Provide regular status reports and financial updates to leadership.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction processes, and jobsite operations.

  • Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build strong relationships.

  • Proficient with project management software, Microsoft Office, and construction documents.

  • Bachelors degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
