Position Description:
Position Summary
The Senior Human Resources Generalist/HR Manager serves as a key member of the HR team, partnering directly with leaders, managers, and employees across the organization to drive a people-first culture and deliver tactical and strategic HR support. This individual will play a vital role in shaping employee engagement, driving cultural engagement, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational growth through effective people practices. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional ready to move into a broader leadership rolecomfortable serving cake at a birthday celebration one moment and collaborating with all levels of management the next. This is a 100% on-site role, Monday through Friday with extended hours/weekend responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain HR systems using ADP Workforce Now, including employee data management, reporting, benefits, and payroll support.
  • Support the full employee life cyclerecruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboardingwith a focus on consistency, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on company policies, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Coordinate Workers Compensation and Unemployment internally and with TPAs
  • Partner with leadership on organizational initiatives such as culture-building, recognition programs, and employee engagement events.
  • Partner with department heads and senior leadership to deliver full-spectrum HR support including staffing, employee relations, performance management, engagement, and compliance.
  • Manage and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all new hires.
  • Assist with investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee relations matters across office, warehouse, sales, and driver teams.
  • Maintain working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.) and ensure ongoing compliance in HR practices.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies, programs, and procedures that align with company values and evolving business needs.
  • Participate in HR strategy sessions and special projects led by the Vice President of HR, helping to translate strategy into actionable programs and outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience within a mid-sized organization; background across multiple HR disciplines strongly preferred.
  • Direct and recent experience with ADP Workforce Now required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
  • Experience supporting diverse employee groups including hourly, driver, warehouse, and professional staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organizationincluding the C-suite.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) a plus.
